Small Things Making A Big Impact

It’s another Monday morning, which of course means it’s #MondayMotivation time.  Can you believe it’s already the third Monday of the new year, and all the festivities that have just passed already seems a distant memory.

So anyway on with today’s post, did anyone see the big news reports last week about the 12 year Cambridge University study which suggested that inactivity causes more premature deaths than obesity? I even shared the article on social media for people that may have missed it.  They suggested that as little as a 20 minute brisk walk a day would have substantial health benefits, which would lead to prolonging your life expectancy.

Now I’m not being funny but if you need any motivation today, it is being in the knowledge that doing something so small can have such a dramatic impact on your life.  And let’s all be honest a 20 minute brisk walk is seriously not a lot nor that hard to fit into our lives.  How much extra time it will actually give us, we will never know, but in my opinion and this is purely my opinion, I will take every second I can take in this life.

Small Things Making A Big Impact

If you don’t think you have enough time in your day for a 20 minute brisk walk, you are seriously too busy and being that busy is going to be the death of you.  There is 24 hours in a day and taking just 20 minutes out of that is a drop in the ocean.

Strange isn’t it, it always seems to be the small things we do which make the biggest impacts on our lives.  So start by getting moving and be motivated to do so.

Stay strong and live, love and laugh!
