Reflections Of 2017

Morning all,

It’s time for my last post of 2017.

Well what a year 2017 has been so much has happened.

For me professionally it’s been another big year with every person I have worked with either achieving their goals and setting news ones or on the right road to hitting their goals in the new year ahead.  Now that alone would make me happy as a productive year, but I’ve also been working hard gaining more specialist certifications in sport exercise and adding in extra university qualifications in sports science (I’ve not stopped).  I’ve also started to put together my recipe for success into detailed guides for you to follow that will be ready in the latter part of next year.     And not forgetting we had our second client Christmas Do this year which was awesome.  Well, not so much the next day…

Personally it’s been another great year full of my engagement, more house renovations, a holiday in the sun and a camping break away in Wales and I’m very lucky to be still surrounded by my friends and family who I love dearly.

So all in all reflecting back over the year it’s been one hell of a ride and I can’t complain.  When I sat down to look at my goals I had set to achieve for 2017 it has been a productive year…. I’ve ticked off nearly all of them, with only a few that have not been ticked off due to situation changes and or they are in the process of being done now to be completed early in the new year.

So for a change it seems I didn’t bite off more than I could chew.  The odd goal that was not achieved will be going back into my goals for 2018, so I need to make sure these things get a little more focus this coming year as I don’t want to be writing again that I have neglected the same goals.  So I need to do as I say and be a little SMARTer with my goal setting.

I would just like to thank everyone who I have had the pleasure of working with this year.  You’ve all motivated and inspired me to learn, grow and continue to do a job I absolutely love and for that I honestly can’t thank you enough.

Sitting here writing this has been great, thinking back to what a year it’s been, loads of good and not so good in so many ways and for so many reasons and next year won’t be any different.  Next year has already got some major shifts, projects and opportunities for me that I am excited and thirsty to get my teeth into.

So from me to you here’s to 2018 and another epic year of many trials and tribulations.

Have a great weekend guys.

Stay strong and live, love and laugh!

Dan
