Building Good Habits

Gooood morning and happy Monday!!!

Which can only mean one thing #MotivationMonday time
Yesterday saw thousands of people taking part in the great eastern run and I would just like to congratulate every single person that donned their running shoes and took to the tarmac, no matter what you finishing time was, you all did amazing from your very first step you took when you crossed the start line.

Events like these can and do inspire people to take on new challenges in their lives, to start a life long habit of exercise and good nutrition – habits are easy to break but even harder to maintain.  But I never understand how these good habits that have such a dramatic effect on your health and wellbeing can ever become hard to maintain, suppose it’s easy for me to say.

If a doctor said if you take this pill once a day you will live a happy fuller life, would you take it?  Of course you would, you would be nuts if you didn’t.  The positives exercise and good nutrition has upon your physical and mental wellbeing far out weight any negatives.

So what I would like you to try today is start a new habit which will have a positive effect on your health, it’s hard at first, put reminders round the house, in your phone, whatever you need to do, but stick to and you will thank yourself for it.

Stay strong and live, love and laugh!
